Course Overview

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. Building upon the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), this course emphasizes the importance of early recognition, high-quality CPR, effective team dynamics, and advanced interventions that improve patient outcomes.

Through instructor-led training, case-based scenarios, hands-on skills practice, and megacode testing, students will develop the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively during life-threatening emergencies.

Mandatory Precourse Assignment (Approx. 3–5 Hours)

Prior to attending class, students are required to complete the assigned ACLS precourse preparation materials. These online learning modules include classroom video content and essential course concepts designed to maximize hands-on learning during the in-person session.

Need BLS Certification?

Students who also require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may add the AHA BLS Provider Online & Skills Session to their registration.

Complete the online BLS course prior to class

Print and bring their online completion certificate

Successfully complete the in-person skills evaluation

Upon successful completion, students will receive their official American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.
