Our Story
The owner of CPR12 comes from a technology background with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations solve complex problems, improve processes, and build systems that make people’s lives easier. He earned his Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from New York University and built a career focused on structure, quality, and problem-solving.
Recently, becoming a father to a baby girl changed his perspective on emergency preparedness. Like many new parents, he began asking serious questions: What would I do if my child stopped breathing? Would I know how to respond if she was choking? Would I be prepared during the critical moments before emergency responders arrived?
Those questions turned CPR from something important into something personal. As he learned more about CPR, choking emergencies, AED use, and emergency response, he realized that these skills are not only for healthcare professionals. Parents, grandparents, babysitters, teachers, coworkers, neighbors, and community members may all be called to act when seconds matter.
That realization inspired the mission behind Learn CPR NYC – Jackson Heights | CPR12: to help healthcare professionals, families, workplaces, and communities gain the confidence and practical skills needed to respond during an emergency.
Because sometimes the person who saves a life is not a doctor, nurse, or paramedic. Sometimes, it is a parent. Sometimes, it is a grandparent. Sometimes, it is a coworker. Sometimes, it is you.
