Terms and Conditions

By registering for any course, event, private training session, or service offered by Learn CPR NYC Jackson Heights and/or CPR12 ("Company"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Registration and Payment

All registrations must be completed through our approved registration system or directly through our office.

Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise approved by the Company.

Registration is not guaranteed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.

Prices, schedules, instructors, and course availability are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are final.

Once registration has been processed, no refunds will be issued.

Students who are unable to attend their scheduled class may be eligible for a class credit in accordance with the Rescheduling Policy below.

Any approved credit must be used within sixty (60) days of the original class date.

Unused credits expire automatically after sixty (60) days.

Rescheduling Policy

To request a reschedule, students must contact us by phone at 646-321-7507 during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time).

If a representative is unavailable, the student must leave a voicemail and send an email to jacksonheights@learncprnyc.com.

The date and time of the voicemail and email will be used to determine eligibility for rescheduling.

Business holidays include:

Requests submitted on these holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Three (3) or More Calendar Days Before Class

Students who request a reschedule at least three (3) calendar days before their scheduled class date may reschedule one (1) time at no additional charge.

The rescheduled class must be attended within sixty (60) days of the original class date.

One (1) to Two (2) Calendar Days Before Class

Students requesting a reschedule one (1) to two (2) calendar days before their scheduled class date will be charged the following fees:

Day-of-Class Requests

Rescheduling requests made on the day of class are not permitted.

Students who fail to attend their scheduled class or attempt to reschedule on the day of class will be considered a No-Show.

Additional Rescheduling Requests

Each registration may only be rescheduled once.

Students who are unable to attend their rescheduled class will forfeit all registration fees, credits, and rescheduling privileges.

No refunds, credits, or additional reschedules will be granted except in cases approved at the sole discretion of the Company.

Lateness Policy

Students are expected to arrive on time.

Students arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled start time may be denied entry and will be considered a No-Show.

Students arriving late to a rescheduled class are also subject to the No-Show Policy.

If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible.

No-Show Policy

A student is considered a No-Show if:

No refunds, credits, or rescheduling privileges will be granted to No-Show students.

Private Classes, In-Home Training, and Group Events

Private classes and group events may require a deposit or full payment in advance.

Rescheduling requests for private events must be made at least seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled event date.

Requests received less than seven (7) days before the scheduled event may be subject to additional fees or forfeiture of deposits.

Additional travel charges, parking fees, tolls, venue fees, or special accommodation costs may apply and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Class Cancellation by The Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, modify, or reschedule any class due to:

Severe Weather Policy

Student safety is important.

In the event of severe weather or hazardous travel conditions, students should contact us before traveling to class.

If the Company determines that weather conditions make travel unsafe, affected students may be transferred to a future class without penalty.

Certification Requirements

Registration and attendance do not guarantee certification.

Students must successfully complete all required course components, skills evaluations, written examinations (if applicable), and any requirements established by the certifying organization.

Failure to successfully complete course requirements may result in the student not receiving certification.

American Heart Association Disclaimer

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in CPR and related lifesaving skills and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association.

Any fees charged for this course do not represent income to the American Heart Association.

Ecard Issuance

Students who successfully complete all course requirements will receive an electronic certification card (eCard) when applicable.

eCards are generally issued within twenty-four (24) business hours after successful course completion.

Processing times may vary based on system availability, verification requirements, or Training Center procedures.

Liability Waiver

Students voluntarily participate in all training activities.

The Company, its instructors, affiliates, Training Center partners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from participation in training activities except where prohibited by law.

Photo, Video, and Marketing Consent

The Company may occasionally take photographs or videos during classes, training sessions, or events for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes.

Students who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must notify the instructor before class begins.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Students agree to contact the Company directly regarding any registration, billing, or service concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter with the Company may result in suspension of future registration privileges while the dispute is investigated.
